As social distancing and stay-at-home orders continue into Easter season, we’re all left looking for new ways to celebrate and connect. Easter is a great time to turn what could be a stressful situation into an opportunity to reconnect with family and start new traditions.
After making a great Easter brunch, take time to do an activity together as a family. We have some starter activities you can print off at home and complete as a family. Each activity has 3 versions: 1 for younger kids, 1 for older kids, and 1 for adults!
Want to make the activities more interactive? Try these ideas:
- Time how long it takes everyone to complete their word searches. Share with family and friends outside of your household and crown a winner in each category.
- When everyone is coloring their sheets, play “pass the color” where everyone gets 30 seconds with their color, then passes it on to the next person at the end of time. This could make your end products much more interesting.
- Display your colored eggs in your windows and encourage neighbors to do the same so your next walk outside can be a neighborhood egg hunt.
